National Road Tour 2007

Back to the rides index

August 5, 2007 - September 29, 2007
Come and ride America's first Interstate Highway! This eight week, interactive journey along 90 miles of Pennsylvania's historic Route 40 is a great way to reflect upon and rediscover local history. Destinations include historical houses, monuments, taverns, bridges, toll houses, and more. Each week we will post an image of a famous (or not so famous) landmark along with some clues. Your job is to get on your bike and ride to try to identify the landmark and get a picture taken of you and your bike in front of it. When you're done, send us the picture. You can do that simply by submitting your picture through our web site. You can do that by logging in to your account. If you don't have an account, you can set up a new account, it's free. By submitting your picture to us you become eligible to win weekly prizes.
